The Graduate Certificate in Urban Education offers additional training and education to educational professionals who work in urban settings.
The Graduate Certificate in Urban Education offers additional education and training to educational professionals who work in urban settings. The program is comprised of three graduate courses that address critical issues associated with life in urban schools and two graduate-level specialization electives tailored to personal areas of concentration.

- EDF 6496 Teaching and Learning in Urban Settings (3 credit hours)

Select two courses from the following electives.
- EDF 6688 Public Policy and Urban Education (3 credit hours)

- EEX 6342 Seminar: Critical Issues in Special Education* (3 credit hours)

Application Requirements
Admission is open to those with a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. An application to the graduate certificate program and official transcripts must be submitted. Applicants must apply online. All requested materials must be submitted by the established deadline.
Please note: Due to restrictive state regulations, UCF is not permitted to provide online courses or instruction to students in the following states.
