The Professional track in the MBA program is designed to prepare up and coming leaders for the challenges they will face as they continue their career progression to positions of upper management.
The Professional track in the MBA program is designed to prepare up and coming leaders for the challenges they will face as they continue their career progression to positions of upper management. The skills they develop and refine during this program will help them to achieve their full career potential and become an increasingly valuable organizational member.
The MBA program allows students to apply advanced theoretical concepts and knowledge from all functional areas of business through an analytical, decision-making process that focuses on solving practical problems. Students in the MBA program also learn to efficiently access, retrieve, and analyze information through technology. The program promotes the use of networking, leadership, and interpersonal competencies to develop and sustain effective relationships with peers, and to create an appreciation for the value of a diverse workforce.

Modeled after our successful Executive MBA track, the Professional track in the MBA program is targeted specifically at the working professional with at least three years of professional work experience, and is offered at regional campus locations on a rotation schedule.
Using a practical, hands-on approach to learning, this cohort program meets two evenings a week, allowing students to work full time while being immersed in the latest business practices. This program promises an intense, interactive, and applied curriculum to equip students with the critical analytical tools, business techniques, and leadership skills needed to grow within their organizations. PMBA curriculum is revised continuously to reflect the demands and expectations of the business community. As such, courses and subjects may be different for future classes.
Program highlights include:
- 22-month program with a convenient two evenings per week schedule
- Minimum of 3 years work experience required
- Small cohort group of working professionals
- Innovative curriculum (consultative and case-based applied approach)
- Prerequisite courses waived in lieu of professional work experience
- Personal interview required for admission
Application Requirements

In addition to the general UCF graduate application requirements, applicants to this program must provide:
- One official transcript (in a sealed envelope) from each college/university attended.
- Official, competitive GRE or GMAT score taken within the last five years.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Essay.
- Résumé showing a minimum of 3 years of full-time, progressive, work experience.
- Interview.
- Applicants applying to this program who have attended a college/university outside the United States must provide a course-by-course credential evaluation with GPA calculation. Credential evaluations are accepted from World Education Services (WES) or Josef Silny and Associates, Inc. only.

Graduate students may receive financial assistance through fellowships, assistantships, tuition support, or loans. Fellowships
Fellowships are awarded based on academic merit to highly qualified students. They are paid to students through the Office of Student Financial Assistance, based on instructions provided by the College of Graduate Studies. Fellowships are given to support a student’s graduate study and do not have a work obligation.
