Glenn W. Lambie, PhD

Glenn W. Lambie, PhD, LPC, NCC, NCSC, CCMHC is an associate professor in the Counselor Education Program at the University of Central Florida. He earned his PhD in Counselor Education from the College of William & Mary. Dr. Lambie has worked in counselor education, as a family and individual counselor, and as a professional school counselor. He has published more than 30 refereed publications and facilitated numerous international, national, and regional professional presentations over the past six years. Dr. Lambie's areas of research interest include professional school counseling; counselor development, wellness and supervision; and counseling children and adolescent "at-risk" populations. He says graduates of the School Counseling program are prepared to take leadership roles in the field. “The program seeks to develop knowledgeable, skilled and reflective professionals who are affective change agents and advocates for youth, families, and communities of varying abilities, cultural heritages, and socioeconomic backgrounds,” explains Dr. Lambie.
